Disney Twisted-Wonderland mobile game has announced a 4th manga adaptation titled Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Comic: Episode of Scarabia. The announcement was made in the January 2025 issue of Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine.
The manga will be drawn by Majiko!, who is known for the manga adaptation of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. The story centers on Yu, a boy who stays at the Night Raven College during the winter holidays, unable to return home. Yu is welcomed by Kalim Al-Asim, the heir to a wealthy family and the dorm leader of Scarabia.
Volume 1 will release in Japan on February 27, 2025. It is based on Disney’s Aladdin, and you can see the cover of the first volume below.
Yana Toboso, the creator of the Black Butler manga series, serves as the original creator, main scenario writer, and character designer for the game, which was created by Aniplex and Walt Disney Japan. The game was released in Japan on March 18, 2020, while the English localization followed on January 20, 2022.
The first manga adaptation, titled Disney Twisted-Wonderland the Comic: Episode of Heartslabyul was written by Wakana Hazuki and illustrated by Sumire Kowono. It was serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly G Fantasy magazine from March 18 to October 2022 and compiled into 4 volumes. The second one is Episode of Savanaclaw, written and illustrated by Suzuka Oda. It began serialization in the same magazine in December 2022 and is currently ongoing with 2 volumes out as of July 2024.
The third one, Episode of Octavinelle, is written by Hazuki and illustrated by Kowono. It began serialization in the same magazine on August 18, 2023. It also has 2 released volumes and is currently ongoing. Besides the manga adaptations, the game also got two novel adaptations by Jun Hioki.
An anime adaptation of 3 seasons (covering the first three manga adaptations) will begin in October 2025.
