The previously announced Does it Count if You Lose Your Virginity to an Android anime revealed the main cast and staff, along with a January 2026 premiere. Studio Nyan Pollution-ω- is animating the series and the main voice cast consists of:

• Ayaka Shimizu as Akane Tsuda
• Marika Hayase as Nadeshiko
• Komaru Kurikoma as Ito-san

Neko B is the director and scriptwriter, while Mitsuru Tsukiumi is the character designer and ZincP is composing the music. The character designs of the cast have also been released:

Does It Count If You Lose Your Virginity to an Android (stylized as Does It Count If You Lose Your Virginity to an Android?) manga has been serialized in Ichijinsha’s Comic Yuri Hime since July 2021.

Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing the manga in English, and they described it as follows:
