Dragon Ball Daima Introduces More Cast and Opening Theme in New Main Trailer

Dragon Ball DAIMA anime has revealed a new trailer, introducing some more cast members and previewing the opening theme song. It has been confirmed that the entire anime is already completed, and it will premiere on October 11 with an extended episode.

The new trailer features the opening theme song “Jaka Jaan” by Zedd, Yukinojo Mori and C&K.

The new cast members include:

  • Yumiko Kobayashi as Supreme Kai (Mini)
  • Fairouz Ai as Panzy
  • Koki Uchiyama as Glorio

They also revealed an updated main visual, featuring some more characters.

In addition, each of the artists involved with theme song left comments. Zedd composed the song, Yukinojo Mori wrote the lyrics, while the singing and songwriting unit, C&K, contributed their vocals and helped compose the chorus.

Studio Toei Animation is animating, while Akira Toriyama was in charge of the story and original character design. Yoshitaka Yashima and Aya Komaki are serving as the series directors, Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru adapted the design for the animation, and Yuko Kashihara is in charge of the series composition and script. They previously revealed a trailer, visual and cast members.

Akira Toriyama started the Dragon Ball manga in 1984. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from 1984 to 1989. The Dragon Ball Z sequel started in 1989 and ended in 1995. The sequel to ZDragon Ball Super started serialization in 2015 and is still ongoing.

The franchise received numerous anime adaptations, with the latest ones being Dragon Ball Super and Super Dragon Ball Heroes. With the latter one being separate from the main continuity, fans have been excited for the story to continue. The Dragon Ball Super TV anime ran from 2015 to 2018 with a total of 131 episodes. The Dragon Ball DAIMA anime was announced in October 2023.
