Edens Zero Season 2 Reveals Opening Theme Song and Premiere Date in New Trailer

The upcoming season 2 of Edens Zero has revealed a new trailer, ahead of April 1 this year. The trailer features the anime’s opening theme song titled “Never Say Never” by Takanori Nishikawa, who also sang the first season’s opening titled “Eden Through the Rough.” J.C. Staff is animating,

Edens Zero Season Two – Second Trailer

New cast information for the anime has been also announced. Additional cast includes Taku Yashiro as Laguna, Rumi Ookubo as Sylph, Toshiki Masuda as Phi, and Atsushi Imaruoka as Daichi. The first season of Edens Zero aired from April 2021 until October 2021 and had 25 episodes in total. Yushi Suzuki directed the first season with Shinji Ishihara as chief director. Toshinori Watanabe will be directing the second season and Ishihara is staying on as the chief director.

The Edens Zero manga series has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since June 2018, and the 22nd compilation volume will be released today as well. Kodansha US is publishing it in English, and they describe the story:
At Granbell Kingdom, an abandoned amusement park, Shiki has lived his entire life among machines. But one day, Rebecca and her cat companion Happy appear at the park’s front gates. Little do these newcomers know that this is the first human contact Granbell has had in a hundred years! As Shiki stumbles his way into making new friends, his former neighbors stir at an opportunity for a robo-rebellion…And when his old homeland becomes too dangerous, Shiki must join Rebecca and Happy on their spaceship and escape into the boundless cosmos.
