Japanese singer Eill (stylized as eill) will perform the theme song for the upcoming anime film The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes titled “Finale”. She will be also performing the insert song “Pre-Romance” for the anime film.
Eill is a 23-year old pop singer-songwriter who is currently signed by Pony Canyon. She first started her musical career in 2018 under Space Shower Music, where she released her digital singles “Makuake” and “Hush”. At the moment, she has three music albums namely Spotlight (2019), Love/Like/Hate (2020), and Palette (2021).
The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes anime film was first announced in January this year. Sudio CLAP will be animating the film, with Tomohisa Taguchi as director. The main cast for the film includes Oji Suzuka as Kaoru Tono and Marie Iitoyo as Anzu Hanaki. It will be released in Japan on September 9.
It is based on a light novel written by Mei Hachimoku and illustrated by Kukka. It was first released on July 18, 2019, at the Gagaga Bonku imprint. A manga adaptation started serialization in Shogakukan’s seinen manga magazine Monthly Sunday Gene-X on July 18, 2020.
