Evangelion 3.0+1.0 Theme Song By Hikaru Utada Exceeds 1 Million Views in Less Than a Day

Evangelion 3.0+1.0 film had a lot of problems on its way to the cinemas. The film officially releases in Japanese cinemas on March 8, 2021, but it had its hardships. Unfortunately, COVID stopped us from watching the film back on January 23, 2021. On the bright sight though, the full version of Evangelion 3.0+1.0 theme song by Hikaru Utada was released. Moreover, the song passed 1 million views in less than a day after the premiere!

Edit: On March 15, 2021, the song crossed 10 million views on Youtube alone!

In a post-apocalyptic world, the last remaining human settlement in Japan is the heavily fortified city of Tokyo-3. Fourteen-year-old Shinji Ikari is brought to the headquarters of Nerv, an underground organization lead by his estranged father, Gendou. In addition, he requests that Shinji become a pilot of an “Evangelion” a colossal android. Said androids were built to fight against monstrous and destructive alien creatures known as “Angels” that wreak havoc on the planet and threaten the survival of the remaining human race.

We hope that the Japanese premiere will be a success and that people around the world will get to see the newest Evangelion film!
