Ibarakino writes the Even Given the Worthless “Appraiser” Class, I’m Actually the Strongest light novel series, which features illustrations by Yu Hitaki. It was serialized online from December 2019 to January 2022 on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website, before getting acquired by Kodansha. There is also a manga adaptation by Morohoshi Fuji.
Kodansha USA licensed both the light novel and the manga in English. The story follows Ein, a boy with the ‘worthless’ class of an “Appraiser” in a world where the god-given jobs/classes are everything. However, his skill turns out to not be so worthless at the lowest point in his life, and he might just be able to become a hero.
