AVIOT has announced the release of the TE-V1R-KZN true wireless earbuds, a limited-edition model developed in collaboration with virtual artist KizunaAI. Pre-orders for the product began on April 28, 2025.
The TE-V1R-KZN is based on AVIOT’s TE-V1R model from its V series, which has sold approximately 170,000 units as of January 2025. The special edition includes design elements and sound tuning supervised by KizunaAI, as well as exclusive packaging featuring artwork by illustrator champi. A previous collaboration revealed the same model featuring Azur Lane.
The earbuds include newly recorded Japanese and English voice lines by KizunaAI for system guidance and a “random voice” feature that plays additional pre-recorded phrases. A special listening event introducing the product was held on April 29, 2025.
Key features of the TE-V1R-KZN include:
- Hybrid Dual Driver 2.0 with 10mm dynamic and balanced armature drivers
- Adaptive Hybrid Noise Cancelling that automatically adjusts based on environment
- Battery life: Up to 19 hours playback (62 hours with case), 9 hours talk time
- Charging: USB Type-C, wireless charging, and fast charging (10-minute charge for 120 minutes of playback)
- Bluetooth 5.3 with support for SBC, AAC, and LDAC codecs
- Water resistance: IPX4 equivalent
- Multipoint connectivity: Supports connection to two devices simultaneously
Two sound modes are available via app control: “Music Mode” optimized for KizunaAI’s singing, and “Streaming Mode” designed for clearer spoken content during streams.
The product is priced at ¥18,700 (tax included) with deliveries expected from July 2025. Sales are available through the AVIOT Online Mall and other retailers.
KizunaAI, who debuted in 2016 as one of the first virtual YouTubers, resumed activities in February 2025 following a three-year hiatus. The popular VTuber also got an anime, Kizuna no Allele, which ran for two seasons in spring and fall of 2023.
AVIOT, operated by Preseed Japan Corporation since 2018, focuses on wireless audio products combining Japanese craftsmanship with modern technology.
