Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest has revealed the first anime trailer ahead of its July 7 premiere. The anime revealed character trailers for Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Erza and Wendy earlier this week. Studio J.C. Staff is animating, with Shinji Ishihara as the chief director and Toshinori Watanabe as the director. You can watch the trailer featuring the theme song “Story” by Da-iCE below.
Boku ga Mitakatta Aozora (BokuAo) will perform the ending theme song “Goodbye, my friend” (“Tomoyo Koko de Sayonara da”). The main voice actors are reprising their roles. You can see the cast announced so far below.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is a sequel manga to the original Fairy Tail series, written by Hiro Mashima and illustrated by Atsuo Ueda. It began serialization in Magazine Pocket in 2018. The manga has 17 volumes published as of April 2024. Kodansha US is publishing it in English, and they describe the story:
Natsu, Lucy, Happy, Erza, and the whole Fairy Tail guild are back in action! And they’ve decided to tackle the “100 Years Quest”—a job no one’s dared take on since the founding of the guild more than a century ago.
