The upcoming Farmagia game has announced that an anime adaptation is also in the works. Hiro Mashima is the character design for the game, which is developed by Marvelous. It is set to release on November 1 for Switch and PS5, while the Steam release will come a day later on November 2.
The anime was announced at the end of the game’s first trailer, which also features the theme song “Life is Beautiful” by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION.
The game was first announced at the latest Nintendo Direct, where they also showcased some more of the gameplay. The video introduces the main character Ten, and explains the game’s story and mechanics in English.
Steam describes the game:
Command an army of monsters in this all-new action game featuring character designs by famed manga artist Hiro Mashima. Take a stand to free the people of Felicidad as a Farmagia named Ten when monster farming, adventure, and hectic battles come together in an epic tale of rebellion and friendship.
To commemorate the announcement, there is also a giveaway on the official X account, where 5 winners can win a character drawing by Hiro Mashima.
