From Gaming to Lifestyle: TTRacing Unveils the ORA Sofa Chair BT21 Collection

Written by Carla Carreon

TTRacing has officially unveiled its first-ever sofa chair with the ORA Sofa Chair BT21 Collection. This announcement marks the brand’s move from the desk into the living room, and from gaming into lifestyle. Sign-ups for the early access sale are currently ongoing, while advance display units will also be available at TTRacing Showrooms in the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand. The public launch date is set for November 11, 2026.

The ORA Sofa Chair BT21 Collection features the eight beloved BT21 character editions: RJ, Shooky, Mang, Koya, Tata, Chimmy, Cooky, and Van.

The first-ever sofa chairs by TTRacing are especially designed to support the body properly while you rest, read, watch, scroll, or nap, so downtime does not cost your back. Its key features include:

  • Powered recline. The backrest and footrest move together: the footrest lifts and extends as you lean back, from 102° to 124°
  • 240° swivel with rocking. A round swivel base that also rocks, so you can turn to the screen or the room.
  • Built-in device holder for your phone or tablet (up to 550 g).
  • Character roll-up blanket in every box, 153 × 85 cm, in eight character patterns.
  • Collector’s gift set in every box: booklet, character card, boarding-ticket insert, sticker sheet, and an NFC CD with a unique serial number linked to a character webpage. Not
    sold separately.
  • Not a novelty chair with a character printed on it, but a functional sofa chair, engineered with the same process behind every TTRacing seat, and it is proof that ergonomic design, comfort, and great looks can live in one product.

The Game, Office, and Home: The Story Behind TTRacing’s Newest Venture into Music and Lifestyle

TTRacing, a gaming chair brand born in Southeast Asia, moves into home furniture and into music and pop culture through one of the world’s most loved character families. The ORA Sofa Chair BT21 Collection is the brand’s next venture into lifestyle, with the proud goal to bring together the “ergonomic expertise behind every TTRacing seat, the creative teams that have made us a trusted partner for the world’s biggest IPs, and the attainable pricing we have kept since day one.” In fact, TTRacing CEO Henry Ting (Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2022) shared his story about moving into new verticals:

“When I started TTRacing in 2017, most people didn’t know what a gaming chair was. Nine years later, we’ve stood on the Computex stage as a tech company, launched our Active Tech collection, and now we’re taking everything we’ve learned into the living room. The ORA isn’t us leaving gaming behind. It’s us following our community into every part of their day.”
–Henry Ting, CEO, TTRacing

BT21 is TTRacing’s first license that comes from the world of music, which is why this collaboration is a benchmark for the tech company. Previously, TTRacing’s licenses (Marvel, Star Wars, One Piece, Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, and ONIC Esports) grew out of film, anime, and esports. Meanwhile, the BT21 characters were created by the members of BTS, one of the biggest musical acts on the planet, and they carry a global fan base that lives as much in playlists and concerts as it does in games and anime.

In the present, TTRacing is not just a gaming brand or a pop culture brand, but a lifestyle brand, built around how people actually spend their hours, from gaming chairs and ergonomic chairs to standing desks. Through the years, TTRacing has been about “work, play, and create.” Now, TTRacing adds “rest,” a thing everyone needs but nobody designs for. So, they’re bringing the same ergonomic discipline to the seat you sink into after the work is done. TTRacing’s COO David A. Reyes further describes the concept:

“We were never just building for gamers. We were building for dreamers. For creators, innovators, music lovers, and people chasing ambitions far beyond the screen. Somewhere along the way, we stopped simply building for our community and started building alongside them. Our collaboration with BT21 marks another chapter in that journey, bringing music, nostalgia, and self-expression into our story. At the end of the day, everyone deserves a space to dream, belong, and simply be themselves. That’s what ORA Sofa Chair is all about.”
–David A. Reyes, COO & CMO, TTRacing

TTRacing Product Development Head Sharlley Tan also adds her thoughts:

“Rest is where most furniture stops caring about the body. With the ORA, we used the same process behind our gaming and ergonomic chairs: rounds of prototypes, real sitting tests, and features that answer real problems. The powered recline moves the backrest and footrest together, so you stay supported as you lean back. The 130 kg rating and three-year warranty show we built it to
last, not just to look good.”

–Sharlley Tan, Product Development Head, TTRacing

In addition, TTRacing makes a point to mention that this collection is a “tribute, not a novelty.” Each of the eight editions is designed to be recognizably one ORA and recognizably its character, so fans get something that honors the source material and still works as a proper piece of furniture. TTRacing Product Design Head Amanda Ong talks about the collaboration collection:

“Designing for BT21 meant designing for one of the most passionate fan bases in the world. Every edition had to feel unmistakably like its character the moment you walk into the room, and still feel like an ORA the moment you sit down. Fans should get a real tribute, not a sticker on a sofa. That standard is exactly why the world’s most protective IP owners keep trusting us.”
–Amanda Ong, Product Design Head, TTRacing

The early access sign-ups for the ORA Sofa Chair BT21 Collection will be held from November 1-7, while the private early access will open from November 8-10. In addition, TTRacing invites interested buyers and fans to visit the TTRacing showrooms because “the best way to understand the ORA sofa chair is to sit in it.” As of writing, the Philippines Showroom has the full set on display, while the Malaysia Showroom has the Tata and Van editions, Singapore has the Koya and RJ editions, and Thailand has the Chimmy and Mang editions.

At its core, the TTRacing Showrooms were designed not just for shopping, but for relaxation, interaction, and comfort.  It’s a space for dreamers to connect, create, and thrive. TTRacing Country Head Alf Molinas of Singapore and Australia describes what this means for the ORA Sofa Chair and TTRacing markets:

“Singapore homes are compact and Australian homes have room to spare, but fans in both markets want the same thing: pieces that are well made and honestly priced. With Koya and RJ already on our Singapore floor, people can sit in one before they commit, and with early access and a 10% reservation, it’s never been easier to bring one home.”
–Alf Molinas, Country Head, Singapore & Australia, TTRacing

TTRacing Country Head Adrian Ewe of Thailand and Indonesia also adds his thoughts:

“Thailand and Indonesia are two of the most passionate fan markets in the region, and BT21 runs deep here. With Chimmy and Mang already in our Thailand showroom and early access pricing in both countries, we want fans to try the ORA first, then own it at the best price it will ever have.”
–Adrian Ewe, Country Head, Thailand & Indonesia, TTRacing
