Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is getting a new officially licensed Equivalent Exchange Collector’s Edition from FiGGYZ, featuring pixel-style figures of Edward Elric, Alphonse Elric, Roy Mustang, and Riza Hawkeye. Pre-orders are set to open on September 4, with the edition closing on October 2.
The complete Collector’s Box Set is priced at $59.99, with delivery expected between January and March 2027. The four included FiGGYZ feature:
- Edward Elric, the “Fullmetal” State Alchemist and youngest person to obtain state certification at age 12
- Alphonse Elric, Edward’s younger brother, whose soul is attached to a suit of armor following the brothers’ failed attempt to transmute their mother
- Roy Mustang, the “Flame” State Alchemist and colonel who uses his ignition gloves to produce flames
- Riza Hawkeye, a first lieutenant known for her exceptional marksmanship and composed personality
Each pixel-art figure comes with a display base, wall mount, and reversible backplate.
The Collector’s Edition also includes four reversible holo plates, with one dedicated to each character. Each has character-specific artwork on one side and the classic FiGGYZ logo on the reverse. All four plates are included with every box.
The set also includes a commemorative coin featuring Edward, Alphonse, Roy and Riza together, along with its own display stand. FiGGYZ is tying the collectibles together through a single edition number, with the box, four holo plates, and commemorative coin carrying the same number.
The final production quantity will be determined when pre-orders close. According to FiGGYZ, once the edition is closed and the numbers have been assigned, those edition numbers will not be produced again.
During a launch stream on September 4, FiGGYZ will also give away the only prototype produced for the release to someone on its signup list. A complete retail box will separately be given away to a viewer during the stream.
A second Validation Stream is scheduled for October 2, when pre-orders will close and edition numbers will be assigned. Viewers participating live will be able to enter a pool for a chance at the lowest available edition numbers, which will be assigned randomly. Customers who do not participate in the livestream will receive the next available numbers.
Fullmetal Alchemist is the most popular manga from Hiromu Arakawa, who is currently serializing Daemons of the Shadow Realm. Square Enix publisher’s Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine was publishing the FMA manga from July 2001 up until June 2010. The manga had 27 volumes in total and sold over 80 million copies. The series also received 2 anime adaptations: Fullmetal Alchemist in 2003 and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood in 2009.
