Fullmetal Alchemist Live-Action Movie Gets Illustration by Hiromu Arakawa

The new Fullmetal Alchemist live-action movie premieres on May 20 and the first viewers will be able to receive a special illustration drawn by the original mangaka Hiromu Arakawa. The illustration will be handed out to movie goes in Japan, on a first-come-first-serve basis, from May 20 to May 22.

Arakawa’s illustration is based on the poster for one of the upcoming Fullmetal Alchemist live-action movies, titled Hagane no Renkinjutsushi: Kanketsu-hen – Fukushusha Scar. As the title suggests, the movie focuses on Scar. The poster features Scar, Al, and Edward. The second movie, Hagane no Renkinjutsushi: Kanketsu-hen – Saigo no Rensei, serves as the final installment of the trilogy and is set to premiere on June 24.

Cast from the 2017 movie is returning, with Ryosuke Yamada starring as Edward, Atomu Mizuishi as Alphonse, and Tsubasa Honda as Winry. Mackenyu Arata is joining as Scar, while Seiyo Uchino will portray Ed and Al’s father. Dean Fujioka is starring as Roy Mustang, while Hiroshi Tachi is Bradley. The new trailer also introduces Yuki Yamada as Solf J. Kimblee, Keisuke Watanabe as Ling Yao, and Chiaki Kuriyama as Olivier Mira Armstrong. An updated trailer was recently revealed:
