Gachiakuta Tagalog Dub Now Streaming on Ani-One Philippines YouTube Channel

Ani-One Philippines is bringing the Gachiakuta anime to local audiences with a Tagalog dub, now streaming on YouTube. While the original season has completed its run with 24 episodes, the dubbed version has reached Episode 19 as of this update.

This localized version marks a notable effort to deepen regional engagement. According to the release, the Tagalog voice cast brings a sharper emotional impact to the gritty dark fantasy series, particularly during the Trash Storm arc, offering an experience beyond subtitles. The dub adds a local flavor that makes the show more immersive and culturally resonant for Filipino viewers.

The dubbed series is officially and exclusively available via Ani-One Philippines on YouTube, where fans can access both dubbed and original versions:

Ani-One emphasizes that watching through official channels directly supports both creators and the local dubbing industry, citing it as a significant win for the Filipino anime community.

We had a chance to interview Kei Urana and Hideyoshi Andou, the creators of the Gachiakuta manga, which is serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine. A total of 17 volumes has been published as of November 2025, while Kodansha USA has been releasing it in English since January 2024. Volume 18 is set to release on February 17, 2026. Season 2 of the anime was announced immediately after the first season’s finale, along with a game and stage adaptations.

The official synopsis is described by Crunchyroll:

Crawl back from the abyss of Hell to change this lousy world!

Rudo lives in the slums of a floating town, where the poor scrape by under the shadow of the rich who live a sumptuous life, simply casting their garbage off the side, into the abyss. Then one day, he’s falsely accused of murder, and his wrongful conviction leads to an unimaginable punishment—exile off the edge, with the rest of the trash. Down on the surface, the cast-off waste of humanity has bred vicious monsters, and if Rudo wants to have any hope of discovering the truth and seeking vengeance against those who cast him into Hell, he will have to master a new power and join a group known as the Cleaners who battle the hulking trash beasts of the Pit!
