Giji Harem Anime Reveals Trailer, July Premiere

The upcoming Giji Harem anime revealed a full-length trailer, July 2024 premiere date, and theme song information. GOHOBI is performing “Blouse,” which can be heard in the trailer:

Studio NOMAD is animating the Giji Harem anime, with Toshihiro Kikuchi as the director. Yuki Kakihara is in charge of the series composition and Yoshihisa Sato is doing the character designs. Takeshi Watanabe is composing the music. As previously announced, the cast includes:

  • Nobuhiko Okamoto as Eiji Kitahama
  • Saori Hayami as Rin Nanakura.
  • Mai Narumi as Ayaka Nanakura

The anime will adapt Yu Saito’s Giji Harem (Pseudo Harem) manga, initially released as a webcomic on Twitter/X in 2018 and also serialized in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine from 2019 to 2021. The plot follows Eiji and Rin, two teenagers who are classmates Eiji is obsessed with harems, like the ones he sees in the manga he reads. Rin secretly likes him and to get his attention she takes on a different personality every time she is around him. Will she ever be able to admit her feelings and be who she truly is around Eiji? Will he grow out of his obsession?
