Giji Harem episode 5 released preview images and a trailer, and we’re in for a treat with some of the most coveted slice-of-life/rom-com scenes all smushed into one. The episode will follow Eiji and Rin as they enjoy their first summer break from high school and set out to enjoy the little things in life, like a visit to the pool, a festival, fireworks and meeting the imouto.
Animated by Studio Nomad, episode 5 airs on Thursday and features Yudai Hanaoka as its director, with the storyboard handled by Hideki Tonokatsu and the screenplay by Yuko Kakihara. Currently simulcasting on Crunchyroll, Giji Harem takes a novel approach to the harem genre and casts Nohuhiko Okamoto as Eiji Kitahama and Saori Hayami as Rin Nanakura. The rest of the vocal staff is comprised of:

- Satou Minako as Kiri Shirasawa
- Maria Abo as Megu
- Kouji Yusa as Tsuguto Iwata
- Junichi Suwabe as Motokuni Nakayama
When Rin Nanakura falls for her drama club senpai, she makes it her goal to get him to fall for her. But when she asks him what his ideal romance is, he earnestly responds that he dreams of having a harem. While most girls would retch at this response, Rin is a cut above the rest. With that little tidbit, she learned all she needed to make Eiji hers. And she won’t stop until that goal is firmly in her hands.
Using her acting chops to her advantage, she playfully channels different dere types providing Eiji with a pseudo harem of her own making.
