The Go! Go! Loser Ranger! anime adaptation revealed a new trailer, key visual, and 2024 release date. As announced, Yostar Pictures (Blue Archive, Arknights, My Master Has No Tail) is animating the series.
The new trailer introduces the main cast:
- Yusuke Kobayashi as Footsoldier D
- Daishi Kajita as Hibiki Sakurama
- Yumika Yano as Yumeko Suzukiri
The staff for the anime includes Keichi Sato as the director and Keiichiro Ohchi as the screenplay writer. Ohchi recently worked on the The Quintessential Quintuplets~ special, for which he was interviewed by Anime Corner.
The Go Go Loser Ranger (stylized as Go! Go! Loser Ranger!)) anime adaptation is based on a manga series written and illustrated by Negi Haruba. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since February 2021. Kodansha USA has licensed it in English, describing the plot as:
When the Monster Army invaded Earth thirteen years ago, the Divine Dragon Rangers rose up to stop them! With the war raging on, these great heroes are mankind’s last hope!
…or are they?
In truth, the invaders were subjugated within a year, forced to continue to crank out a monster a week for the Rangers to crush in front of their adoring fans! But one monster has had enough. Something has to change! He’ll rebel against the might of the Dragon Rangers and destroy them all…from the inside!
