Go, Go, Loser Ranger Season 2 anime has been announced for 2025 immediately after the first season’s finale. Yostar Pictures animated the series, with Keiichi Sato as the director. You can find the season 2 announcement video below.
The anime began on April 7 and is streaming exclusively on Disney Plus (Disney+). The rest of the staff includes Keichiro Ohchi in charge of the screenplay, Kahoko Kosei as the character designer, Kenji Hayama as the animation supervisor and Yoshihiro Ike as the music composer.
The main cast includes Yusuke Kobayashi as Footsoldier D, Daishi Kajita as Hibiki Sakurama, and Yumika Yano as Yumeko Suzukiri. Azumi Waki, Yuichi Nakamura, Hina Yomiya, Akari Kito, Seiichiro Yamashita, and Hiroyuki Yoshino will also be appearing in the Go, Go, Loser Ranger! anime.
The Go, Go, Loser Ranger (stylized as Go! Go! Loser Ranger!)) anime adaptation is based on a manga series written and illustrated by Negi Haruba (creator of The Quintessential Quintuplets). It has been serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine since February 2021. Kodansha USA has licensed it in English, and they describe the story:
When the Monster Army invaded Earth thirteen years ago, the Divine Dragon Rangers rose up to stop them! With the war raging on, these great heroes are mankind’s last hope!
…or are they?
In truth, the invaders were subjugated within a year, forced to continue to crank out a monster a week for the Rangers to crush in front of their adoring fans! But one monster has had enough. Something has to change! He’ll rebel against the might of the Dragon Rangers and destroy them all…from the inside!
