Haigakura anime has revealed a new key visual, along with information on the theme songs and October 2024 release date. The opening theme song “Chaser” will be performed by MADKID, while the ending song “Phoenix” will be performed by Hikaru Makishima. Studio Typhoon Graphics is animating the series, with Junichi Yamamoto as the director.

Besides the director Junichi Yamamoto, the Haigakura anime staff includes Yuu Murai in charge of the series composition, Masaki Sato as the character designer, and Yuhki Kurihara in charge of the music.
The Haigakura anime is based on a manga by Shinobu Takayama. It was serialized in Ichijinsha’s Comic Zero Sum WARD magazine from January 2008 to May 2015. It was transferred to Zero-Sum Online in September 2015, where it is currently ongoing.
The story follows Ichiyo and his Divine Companion Tenko as they search for a dangerous god in a world where the pillars, four gods who once held up the world, have fled. After these gods abandoned their roles, the balance of the world began to crumble, and it became the duty of the kashikans to track them down and restore order. With personal motives driving their quest—Ichiyo seeking to reclaim a lost family and past—Ichiyo and Tenko embark on a journey across the world to prevent its collapse.
