The upcoming Hana-Kimi anime revealed a new trailer, which features the opening theme song “Adrena” and ending theme song “Baby,” both performed by YOASOBI. Additionally, the anime announced that it will premiere on January 4, 2026. Satoshi Hino also joins the cast as Makoto Kagurazaka.
Signal.MD is animating the series with Natsuki Takemura as director and Shigeru Ueda as the assistant director. Takao Yoshioka is handling of series scripts, Shi Yi Su is designing the characters, Masaru Yokoyama is composing the music. The voice cast consists of:

- Kikunosuke Toya as Shuichi Nakatsu
- Yuichiro Umehara as Minami Nanba
- Jun Fukuyama as Hokuto Umeda

The anime is based on a manga by Hisaya Nakajo. It was serialized in Japan in Hakusensha’s semi-monthly shōjo manga magazine Hana to Yume. VIZ Media publishes the manga in English:
Japanese-American track-and-field star Mizuki has gotten herself to transfer to a high school in Japan…but not just any school! To be close to her idol, high jumper Izumi Sano, she’s going to an all-guys’ high school…and disguising herself as a boy! But as fate would have it, they’re more than classmates…they’re roommates!
