Voice actress Haruka Tomatsu announced on Tuesday on her blog that she is pregnant with her second child, along with a message on her birthday (February 4). The voice actress, who just turned 35, gave birth to her first child three years ago, in February 2021.
After celebrating her birthday and expressing thanks for all the support she has received, although she hoped to make the private information public in the same as the first delivery, she wrote: “This is a personal matter for me, but I’m growing a new life. While I would usually share it in the same manner as last time, I decided to make the announcement because of my upcoming live event.“
The event refers to a two-day one named LAWSON presents Sphere Live 2025 “Welcome!!!!!” scheduled to be held on February 22 and 23. Sphere is a unit that the voice actress has formed with Ayahi Takagaki, Aki Toyosaki, and Minako Kotobuki, since February 2009.
“For this month’s live performance, safety will come as a top priority, but we have prepared a diverse setlist with unique and special arrangements. I am also looking forward to seeing everyone at our fifteenth-anniversary concert. I’ll be very thrilled if all attendees can get excited and enjoy the event together!“
As for future events, she plans to attend based on her health conditions and so hopes to receive warm support.
“I’m now in my late 30s and will celebrate my twentieth career anniversary this year,” the post concludes. “I’m hoping to further improve my career and personal life and spend my 30s to grow also as a person. Thank you for your continued support!“
She is well-known for her roles as Asuna Yuuki (Sword Art Online series). Other popular characters she has played include: Zero Two (Darling in the Franxx), Kyoko Hori (Horimiya), and more.
