Hatsune Miku will be appearing in the third season of Dropkick on My Devil anime, as revealed earlier today during the Anime Jashin event in Akihabara, Japan. The anime begins airing this July. A new key visual has been revealed.
In addition to the new visual, the Dropkick on My Devil anime revealed character designs for Hatsune Miku – featuring her signature leek. According to the announcement, she will appear in the main part of the anime.
Studio Nomad is animating the third season of Dropkick on My Devil! anime (also known as Jashin-chan Dropkick X). A special “support trailer” for the third season was revealed last year:
The main cast of the anime includes:
- Aina Suzuki as Jashin-chan
- Nichika Omori as Yurine Hanazano
- Ruri Asano as Ecute
- Rena Hasegawa as Atre
Amazon Prime is streaming the first season of the anime and describes the plot as:
Jashin-chan, a devil from Hell was abruptly summoned to the human world by Yurine Hanazono, a stoic college student who lives in a run-down apartment in Jinbocho. They’re forced to become roommates since Yurine doesn’t know how to send Jashin-chan back. But according to Jashin-chan, she could return by killing Yurine, so she takes action…?! A viperous roomie comedy that keeps you on your toes!
