Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku Season 2 revealed a main visual and four additional cast members on Friday. Studio MAPPA is animating the series, scheduled to premiere on January 11, 2026.
Additionally, the series revealed character visuals for Shugen, Jikka, Kiyomaru, and Isuzu.
The voice cast includes:
- Chiaki Kobayashi as Gabimaru
- Yumiri Hanamori as Sagiri Asaemon Yamada
- Kensho Ono as Toma Asaemon Yamada
- Aoi Ichikawa as Fuchi Asaemon Yamada
- Rie Takahashi as Yuzuriha
- Ryohei Kimura as Chobe Aza
- Tetsu Inada as Gantetsusai Tamiya
- Ryota Suzuki as Shugen Asaemon Yamada
- Koji Yusa as Jikka Yamada Asaemon
- Maaya Uchida as Kiyomaru Yamada Asaemon
- Sayaka Ohara as Isuzu Yamada Asaemon
- Mamiko Noto as Yui (Gabimaru’s Wife)
Yuji Kaku wrote and illustrated the Hell’s Paradise manga where the anime is based from. Kaori Makita returns to direct the sequel with Akira Kindaichi writing again the series script. Akitsugu Hisagi is also back as the character designer and Yoshiaki Dewa as the music composer.
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime, describing it as follows:
Gabimaru reigns as the strongest and most ruthless assassin in his village. But now finds himself on death row—with only one way out: retrieve the Elixir of Life from a sinister island. Longing for freedom, he accepts the challenge. But with fellow convicts vying for the same prize and demonic beasts lurking, how will Gabimaru survive this harrowing quest?
