In celebration of Honkai: Star Rail‘s newest 5-star character — Argenti the chivalrous Knight of Beauty — developer miHoYo (Hoyoverse) announced its collaboration with Beijing Academy of Forestry and Landscape Architecture on a special project to create a new variant of the red rose flower named the “Argenti” rose.
As the name suggests, this project is inspired by Argenti’s character theme which describes the significance of the rose in his character introduction: “My name is Argenti, I belong to the Knights of Beauty, and I offer this rose to convey my heartfelt salutations.”
The debut of the Honkai: Star Rail “Argenti” rose will be at an offline pop-up event at Shanghai Station, China on December 8-12, 2023. A limited floral showcasing at Guangzhou, Hangzhou, and Xiamen stations will also happen on the same weekend. Meanwhile, large-scale cultivation will also be prepared at the Yunnan Flower Planting base so the roses can bloom in time to enter the market by Spring 2024. As of writing, there are no further details about the Argenti rose variety.

Moreover, Honkai: Star Rail is also in collaboration with Japanese flower shop Karendo to celebrate the release of Argenti’s banner with some rose-inspired merchandise. This includes a special fresh or soap rose, a Preserved Red Rose “Petit Maison,” and some special rose-shaped chocolates. The event’s period is from December 7-20, 2023 in Japan.

Argenti is the featured 5-star character of the second half of Honkai: Star Rail‘s version 1.5 “The Crepuscule Zone.” The period of his limited warp event, “Thorns of Scented Crown,” is from December 6- 23, 2023. Argenti is a devout follower of the Aeon of Beauty, Idrila, and he holds the elements of an Erudition path and a Physical combat type. The official character preview describes Argenti:
A paragon knight of the Knights of Beauty.
He embodies righteousness and honor, possessing an admirable nobility.
As a solitary wanderer in the cosmos, he wholeheartedly embraces the principles of “Beauty.”
Upholding the honor of beauty in the universe has been Argenti’s sacred duty.
From the very beginning, he approached this duty with piety and unwavering conviction.
Honkai: Star Rail (HSR) is a turn-based role-playing gacha video game developed by miHoYo that launched in April 2023. It is the fourth installment of the Honkai series, published by miHoYo in mainland China and by Cognosphere (HoYoverse) worldwide. It recently won the “Best Mobile Game” category in the The Game Awards 2023 while its sister RPG, Genshin Impact, was also nominated for “Best Ongoing” game of 2023.
