Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.5, “To Roll the Stars in Astropolis,” will launch on August 26, introducing Astropolis as a new destination along with the 5-star characters Robin • Summeretto and Aventurine • Waveflair. HoYoverse also released a trailer for the update.
The new Trailblaze Continuance follows the crisis in Planarcadia caused by the appearance of the Voracity. The Trailblazer heads to Astropolis, an Interastral Peace Corporation stronghold and the headquarters of Interastral Peace Entertainment, while seeking the power needed to help Planarcadia. The story will also involve Robin and Aventurine, with the latter continuing his investigation into a potential traitor among the Ten Stonehearts.
Robin • Summeretto is a 5-star Wind character on the Path of Remembrance. Following Sunday’s departure from Penacony, Robin has become head of the Oak Family and travels to Astropolis while secretly investigating Gopher Wood’s “legacy.” Her combat mechanics center on accumulating Vibes through teammates’ actions and providing increasingly powerful team buffs. Her Ultimate immediately advances a selected teammate’s action, restores their Energy and increases her Vibes. Robin will also perform a new song titled “Only by Chasing the Wind.”
Robin • Summeretto and her 5-star Light Cone “Rise and Sing” will headline the first half of Version 4.5, alongside a Hyacine rerun. The new 4-star Light Cone “A Little Getaway” will also be available.
The second half begins on September 12 and will introduce Aventurine • Waveflair, a 5-star Quantum character on the Path of Elation. His kit uses the Punchline and Fervor mechanics, with actions by Aventurine and his teammates building resources that can trigger an additional Elation Skill. He will arrive alongside his 5-star Light Cone “Summer Rides the Surf” and an Ashveil rerun.
Version 4.5 will also add the “Overdrive: Whirlwind Grand Prix” racing event and “Minuscule Great Adventure,” along with an update to Divergent Universe. “Planar Fissure” and “Realm of the Strange” will return as double-drop events, while a new Trailblaze Fashion item called “Aw, Look Up Here” will become available. Story dialogue will also gain an optional speed-up function beginning with this update.
HoYoverse additionally announced a Honkai: Star Rail collaboration with MOONDROP, featuring Sparxie-themed products and online and offline events across multiple regions.
A Zenless Zone Zero collaboration is also planned for later in 2026, with characters from the game set to appear in Honkai: Star Rail.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.4, titled In Ravages Does the Whistle Sound, launched on July 15, with the second phase of the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] collaboration beginning on July 24.
