Honkai: Star Rail X MAPPA original animation project revealed a concept trailer, which is titled “Death in the Afternoon.” Not many details were shared about the project, with only the director and character designer revealed. The project is directed by Yuzuru Tachikawa, known as the director of Death Parade, Mob Psycho 100, and Deca-Dence. Kayoko Ishikawa (ZENSHU character designer) is behind the character designs.
