Otaku Pop Fes 2026 is bringing cosplay into the spotlight with the highly anticipated
OPF Cosplay Cup, taking place at Okada Manila on April 25 and 26, 2026. It is one of the event’s marquee attractions and is set to gather talented cosplayers for a live showcase of creativity, performance, and character interpretation. The OPF Cosplay Cup is further described:
Designed to celebrate the artistry and passion of the cosplay community, the OPF Cosplay Cup offers participants the opportunity to present their work on a major event stage before a live audience. From detailed costume builds to fully realized stage performances, the competition promises to be a standout feature of the two-day event.
More than a competition, the OPF Cosplay Cup serves as a celebration of performance,
craftsmanship, and fandom. As Otaku Pop Fes 2026 approaches, the Cosplay Cup
stands as one of the event’s most compelling highlights, offering cosplayers a platform
to perform, compete, and be recognized on a prominent stage.
This year’s competition offers significant prizes:
- First Place winner – will receive PHP 20,000 and a 3D2N trip to Japan, valid for six months from April 26, in addition to a performance slot at a Japan event, a trophy or commemorative plaque, and prominent feature placements across OPF’s official social media and media channels.
- Second Place winner – will receive PHP 10,000, along with a trophy or commemorative plaque, feature placements on the official website and social media pages, and an OPF merchandise set.
- Third Place winner – will receive PHP 5,000, as well as a trophy or commemorative plaque, website, social media features, and an OPF merchandise set.
The competition will be judged by a distinguished panel that includes Myrtle Sarrosa, Prince De Guzman, Awie, Een, Lia Bear, Roxanne Kho, and Zackt. Their participation further elevates the profile of the event and underscores the importance of the Cosplay Cup within this year’s program.
The deadline for entries is April 13, 2026. The Semi-Finals will be held on April 25, 2026, followed by the Finals on April 26, 2026, both at Okada Manila. The competition is open under the Open Category, and participants may enter using self-made, commissioned, or purchased costumes.
Otaku Pop Fes (OPF) 2026, organized by CBZN Perspective and Cyber E, is a two-day Japanese pop culture convention that will be held on April 25–26, 2026, at Okada Manila in Parañaque City, Philippines.
