Horikoshi's Stunning New Shigaraki Art Reveals a Post-Apocalyptic Look

My Hero Academia creator Kohei Horikoshi unveiled a stunning new illustration of Tomura Shigaraki on February 13, 2025. The new artwork gives the My Hero Academia antagonist a post-apocalyptic look, with a rugged coat and a belt pouch for his hands.

Horikoshi drew the My Hero Academia manga for Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from July 2014 until August of this year. Following the conclusion, the creator said that he is already working on his next manga.

My Hero Academia Season 8 was confirmed to be the final anime season, set to premiere in Fall 2025. The franchise also has four movies, with the latest one being My Hero Academia: You’re Next. The movie will release on Blu-ray & DVD in Japan on February 19, 2025 and include a new anime with an original story by Horikoshi.
