How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Ult Releases Visual & Staff Details

The production committee for How Not to Summon a Demon Lord ULT has released a teaser visual and details about the main staff. Tezuka Productions will return to animate the series. Studio Okuruto Noboru, which worked on the previous season, will not be involved.

Satoshi Kuwabara is also returning as director. His other directing credits include The Quintessential Quintuplets and The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses. Other returning staff members include series composer Kazuyuki Fudeyasu and character designer Shizue Kaneko.

The production committee has not yet announced a premiere date for Season 3. Crunchyroll streams the first two seasons.

The series is based on How Not to Summon a Demon Lord, a light novel written by Yukiya Murasaki and illustrated by Takahiro Tsurusaki. Its story follows Takuma Sakamoto, a hikikomori NEET who spends his days playing the MMORPG Cross Reverie. Though he’s a top-ranked player, his life outside the game is less impressive.

One day, Takuma finds himself in a world that mimics Cross Reverie! And to add to his confusion, he’s in the body of his Cross Reverie character, the Demon Lord Diablo! But what is he doing there? Well, a demi-human and an elf summoned Diable to make him their servant!

Unfortunately for them, Diablo’s magical ring reverses the spell, making them his servants instead. Now stuck in Cross Reverie, Diablo must survive his newfound world with his servants in tow.
