The upcoming i☆Ris the Movie – Full Energy! film revealed a main visual and trailer along with two additional cast members. The main visual and trailer features all the members of the main group. Voice actresses Rie Takahashi and Mitsuki Saiga will join the film as Shiro Risu and Kuro Risu respectively. The film is set to premiere on May 17, 2024.
Studio Gokumi is animating the series with Hiroshi Ikehata as director and Hiroko Fukuda as the scriptwriter. Kazuyuki Ueda is in charge of designing the characters. The film’s theme song “Ai for you!” is written by i☆Ris and composed by Masayoshi Oishi. The group will perform the said song live for the first time on March 23 at the AnimeJapan 2024 stage. It is also featured in the latest trailer.
i☆Ris is a Japanese voice actress idol girl group formed in 2012. The members consist of Himika Akaneya, Miyu Kubota, Saki Yamakita, Yu Serizawa, and Yuki Wakai. The group has performed theme songs for various anime such as Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live, PriPara, Idol Time PriPara, Magical Girl Site, Twin Star Exorcists, Akiba’s Trip: The Animation, Wise Man’s Grandchild, and Magical Senpai. The group performed at Anime NYC last November and teased the movie.
