I Have a Crush at Work anime revealed the second trailer, as well as a January 6 premiere date and five new cast members. Studio BLADE is animating, with Naoko Takeichi as the director. The first teaser trailer was released in September, while you can see the new one below.
The trailer features both the opening theme song “Ano ne,” by POLKADOT STINGRAY and the ending theme song “Futarijime” by pachae. New cast additions include:
- Misaki Watada as Chiharu Uto
- Sora Tokui as Yukiko Sakura
- Kentaro Tone as Itsuro Mita
- Kensho Ono as Seiya Suzuki
- Shin-ichiro Miki as Hiromi Kiribayashi

Naoko Takeichi is directing the anime, with Masahiro Yokotani in charge of the script and Mina Osawa as the character designer. The main voice cast includes:
- Seiichiro Yamashita as Masugu Tateishi
- Yume Miyamoto as Yui Mitsuya
- Shizuka Ito as Shizuno Hayakawa
- Reiou Tsuchida as Keisuke Somei
- Yo Taichi as Maria Morizono
Akamaru Enomoto writes and draws the I Have a Crush at Work manga, which is also known as Can You Keep a Secret? It was serialized in Kodansha’s Morning magazine from March 2019 to January 2023, with its chapters compiled into 15 volumes. Kodansha USA is publishing the manga in English.
The story follows two coworkers with a crush on each other, Yui Mitsuya and Masugu Tateishi. However, they aim to keep their relationship at secret to avoid any awkwardness, but they are so into each other that it often gets very difficult to do.
