I Lost My Adventurer’s License, but It’s Fine Because I Have an Adorable Daughter Now is a light novel series by Manimani Ononata, with illustrations by Fuzichoco. It began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro before being picked up by SB Creative, which launched the print version under the GA Novel label in August 2018. As of October 2022, four volumes have been published. A manga version by Fumi Tadaura started on Square Enix’s Manga UP! in November 2018, and has released 13 volumes as of June 2025.
The official synopsis (via MANGA UP!):
Douglas, once known as a legendary enhancement spellcaster, is now little more than your average, weak old man. On top of that, he was kicked out of the hero party, and eventually had his adventurer’s license revoked… And that’s how he ended up a vagabond, wandering aimlessly. After an encounter with Rabi, a cursed little girl, a new adventure begins…
