The upcoming anime series Idaten Deities in the Peaceful Generation revealed its new trailer during the MAPPA Stage 2021 event. The series will be premiering on July 22, 2021, at Fuji TV’s noitaminA programming block. In addition, the series’ opening theme song and a new group of cast members were unveiled.
Cast
The series will be having Romi Park as Hayato, and Megumi Ogata as Easley. Meanwhile, Yui Horie will be lending her voice to Paula along with Akemi Okamura as Rin.
The newly announced cast of the series include Akira Ishida as Prontea, Shizuka Ito as Gil, and Asami Seto as Pisara. Additionally, Sumire Uesaka will be joining the series as Nickel along with Mariya Ise as Miku.
Romi Park is known for voicing Hange Zoë from Attack on Titan, while Yui Horie voiced Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket. Megumi Ogata played the role of Shinji Ikari in Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Akemi Okamura is also the voice of Hinoe from Natsume’s Book of Friends.
Meanwhile, Akira Ishida voiced Akasa from Demon Slayer: Mugen Train, while Mariya Ise voiced Midari Ikishima from Kakegurui. Let’s not forget that Asami Seto voiced Nobara Kugisaki from Jujutsu Kaisen, while Sumire Uesaka voiced Nagatoro from Ijiranaide, Nagatoro–san.
Production
Seimei Kidokoro will be directing the series at MAPPA, while Nao Ootsu will be in charge of the character designs. Additionally, Hiroshi Seko will be overseeing the screenplay and series composition. Hiroshi Seko also worked on the series Kakegurui, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Attack on Titan. Tatsuya Kitani will be performing the opening theme song titled “Seija no Koushin.”

Gods appeared when humanity was on the verge of destruction due to the work of demons. Deities called “Idaten” fought and sealed away the demons 800 years ago.
