I'm in Love with the Villainess Author Banned From Twitter After Joking With a Fan

Inori, the author of the girls love light novel I’m in Love with the Villainess, has been banned from the social media platform Twitter after jokingly replying to one of her follower’s Twitter space. In the space, she requested her follower to sing a difficult song and replied shortly with “I’ll break your throat lol”. Twitter’s AI deemed the said tweet threatening and soon banned her account. She filed an appeal to the platform after the incident but was unfortunately rejected. She later created a new account and is now asking if her fans could follow her again. The author shared her experience in a blog post on pixiv and her new account:

I’m in Love with the Villainess is a light novel series written by Inori and illustrated by Hanagata. Shosetsuka ni Naro started serializing the title in January 2018 until February 2021 with 5 volumes in total. A manga adaptation illustrated by Aonoshimo launched in June 2020 with 4 volumes currently in circulation.

Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the light novel in English and they described the plot as:
