Inu ni Nattara Suki na Hito ni Hirowareta (My Life as Inukai-san’s Dog) manga is getting an anime adaptation in 2023. A teaser visual has been revealed.
An official website has been launched, but additional information like the studio and staff still hasn’t been revealed. A comment from the original manga author Gosei Furukawa is available on the site, along with a special illustration to commemorate the news:
It’s mainly a piece from the dog’s perspective. I think you will enjoy the feeling of being held by a girl. The heroine’s thoughts and feelings are not described from a first-person point of view. I can’t wait to see how the movements and voices make me feel!
InuHiro manga started serialization in Magazine Pocket in 2020. It currently has 39 chapters and 4 volumes. Magazine Pocket’s website describes the plot as:
A POV romantic-comedy in which you are bred by a cool and beautiful girl! When you wake up, you find out that you became the pet dog of an overly cool and beautiful girl, Inukai-san! In school, Inukai-san is an expressionless girl. But she is a dog lover to the extreme! She walks him, takes him out to the potty, and trains him to become a dog in body and soul! She is the type of person who will stop being a human (!?). A little bit of H comedy!
