I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years Season 2 Reveals Laika Character Trailer

I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level Season 2 anime has revealed a new character trailer, this time highlighting the red dragon, Laika. Kunihisa Sugishima directing the sequel at studio Teddy. It will premiere in 2025. Kaede Hondo voices Laika, and you can watch her character trailer below.

This is the second character trailer, with Azusa previously getting the first one. Besides the director Kunihisa Sugishima, the main staff also includes Naohiro Fukushima as the scriptwriter, Hikaru Kodama as the character designer and Keiji Inai in charge of the music. I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level premiered in April 2021, with Revoroot animating the first season. The anime is based on a light novel series by Kisetsu Morita (story) and Benio (art). The novel is still ongoing, with 25 released as of August 9. Yen Press licensed it in English.

The story follows Azusa, who dies of overworking and reincarnated as an undying witch in another world. She decides to be as free as she can, only hunting slimes. Little did she know that hunting slimes for centuries would still make her an overpowered isekai protagonist.
