Jujutsu Kaisen Reveals Visual for Juju Fes 2024

JUJUTSU KAISEN has revealed a visual for its upcoming Juju Fes 2024 (JujuFes2024) event, which will be held in Japan on August 25. It’s a special event celebrating the franchise, and it will feature various activities, including panels with the voice actors from the anime. The visual features the main characters from the second season (both the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arcs and the Shibuya Incident arc).

In addition to the voice actors’ appearances, there will also be a live performance by Soushi Sakiyama (performed “AKARI,” the first ending song of the second season). There will naturally be merchandise, as well as episode screenings, a cosplay contest, and more. We can also expect anime related news at the event.

The second season of the anime covered the Hidden Inventory/Premature Death arc in 5 episodes, before moving on to the Shibuya Incident arc for the other 18 episodes. A sequel titled JUJUTSU KAISEN Culling Game was announced immediately after the finale.

Studio MAPPA animated both seasons of the TV anime and movie for the franchise. Akutami Gege writes and draws the original manga, which is licensed by VIZ Media in English. Crunchyroll streams both the anime and movie, and they describe the story:
Yuji Itadori is a boy with tremendous physical strength, though he lives a completely ordinary high school life. One day, to save a classmate who has been attacked by curses, he eats the finger of Ryomen Sukuna, taking the curse into his own soul. From then on, he shares one body with Ryomen Sukuna. Guided by the most powerful of sorcerers, Satoru Gojo, Itadori is admitted to Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights the curses… and thus begins the heroic tale of a boy who became a curse to exorcise a curse, a life from which he could never turn back.
