Kagurabachi Volume 12 has been released in Japan, with two new promotional videos (PV) released to commemorate the launch. The series also announced the results of its worldwide popularity poll for memorable manga pages, which received 45,286 votes.
The two Volume 12 PVs focus separately on Chihiro Rokuhira and Seiichi Samura. Chihiro’s video carries the phrase “The Mission of the Seventh Enchanted Blade,” while Samura’s is presented as “The Future That Must Be Seen.”
Alongside the Volume 12 campaign, the results of the Kagurabachi Memorable Page Popularity Poll have been released. Fans around the world submitted a total of 45,286 votes to select their favorite pages from the manga.
A special wallpaper featuring the page that placed first overall has also been released following the results.
Kagurabachi, written and illustrated by Takeru Hokazono, is serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. The highly anticipated anime adaptation is set to premiere in April 2027, with Crunchyroll streaming it worldwide (excluding Japan, Mainland China, North Korea, and South Korea).
Studio Cypic is in charge of the animation production, with Tetsuya Takeuchi as the director. Takeuchi is famously known for the Rock Lee vs Gaara fight in Naruto. We previously also had the chance to interview CyberAgent’s Takahiro Yamauchi, who talked about the company and its goal of creating “high-quality Japanese animation works that can be accepted globally.”
