KAIJU GIRL CARAMELISE anime revealed a new global visual ahead of its international premiere, while also confirming worldwide streaming platforms, Anime Expo presence, and new music releases for the upcoming romantic comedy anime. The anime was announced in December 2025, with studio LIDEN FILMS in charge of the animation.
The anime begins streaming worldwide on Crunchyroll on July 2, excluding Asia but including India. Viewers in Taiwan and Southeast Asia will be able to watch through Muse Communication platforms, including Muse Asia’s YouTube channel, beginning July 3, while the series will also stream in South Korea via KT Studio Genie.

At Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles, Pony Canyon’s booth will feature a five-meter-wide interactive peel-off sticker wall based on the new visual, along with a photo spot where visitors can try on Kuroe’s signature kaiju horns and tail. A dedicated panel on July 3 will include a screening of Episode 1 and the North American premiere of Episode 2.
The anime’s opening theme song is “KAIJU GIRL” by METANICK, with lyrics by Aira Yuuki and music and arrangement by Yuki Honda (Arte Refact). The ending theme is “OtomenoHonki” by HoneyWorks feat. HaKoniwalily, with lyrics, music, and arrangement by HoneyWorks and MARUMOCHI.

Based on the manga by Spica Aoki, Kaiju Girl Caramelise has been serialized in Monthly Comic Alive since 2018 and has sold more than 230,000 copies. The romantic comedy follows high school student Kuroe Akaishi, whose emotions trigger the appearance of a giant kaiju known as Harugon. You can read the full official synopsis below:
