Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME has introduced a new playable character, 5-Star [Unbridled Curiosity] Suited, as part of its latest update.
To celebrate the character’s arrival, a Mini Special Event titled “Suited’s Devotion☆” is now live in the game, offering players over 1,000 Dimensional Crystals, a new Home background, and additional items.
Suited is described as the biggest troublemaker within CLOZER, while also serving as the head of the Suited Technical Lab (STL), an organization responsible for developing anti-kaiju weapons. “Known to be a massive Kaiju enthusiast, she prioritizes her intellectual curiosity above all else, leaving little room for ethics. The name “Suited” is self-proclaimed; her real name is apparently something else.”
A new 5-star weapon, HM-Eporhtnacyl (Hammer), has also been added. You can watch the character trailer for Suited below.
The new event follows Suited as she takes Kafka on a walk through the city. By completing the event’s short story segments and quests, players can earn:
- A new Home background featured in the story
- Over 1,000 Dimensional Crystals
- Additional rewards and titles
The Mini Special Event will run for a shorter duration than standard Special Events, with further details available through the game’s in-game announcement.
Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME is a free-to-play title with in-app purchases available on iOS, Android, and Steam. The game supports multiple languages including English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), with French recently added. More information is available at kj8-thegame.com.
Kaiju No. 8 Background
The game is based on Kaiju No. 8, a manga by Naoya Matsumoto that was serialized on Shonen Jump+ from July 2020 to July 2025. As of September 2025, the series has surpassed 19 million copies in circulation across 16 volumes.
The anime adaptation aired its first season from April to June 2024, followed by a theatrical compilation in March 2025 and a second season that ran through September 2025. A ‘final chapter’ anime adaptation is also in production.
