The ongoing KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World anime has announced that episode 8 of the series will be delayed due to “various circumstances.” Instead, the newest (seventh) episode will be rebroadcast this week. Episode 8 will air on May 31. Studio Palette is animating the series under the direction of Yuki Inaba. Kaori Yoshikawa is doing the character designs. The cast for the anime includes:

Crunchyroll is streaming the KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World anime outside of Japan, describing the plot as:
As heir to a cult leader, Yukito centers his life around the mysterious goddess Mitama. But everything changes after he’s killed during a ritual gone wrong. To his surprise, Yukito is reborn into a world with no concept of god! And in this world, life and death are decided by the Imperial State. As Yukito fights to protect his new village, someone from his past life lends a helping hand.
KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World (Kaminaki Sekai no Kamisama Katsudo) is based on a manga series written by Aoi Akashiro and illustrated by Sonsho Hangetsuban. It was first serialized on Hero’s Inc.’s Monthly Hero’s from May 2019 to October 2020 and then transferred to Comiplex website in November 2020.
The series also has a manga spin-off series titled Kaminaki Sekai no Onee-chan Katsudo, written by Shinya Murata and illustrated by Tokisada Hayami. The manga began serialization on Comiplex’s website in November 2022.
KamiKatsu: Working for God in a Godless World‘s delay is not the first one this week. Hell’s Paradise will also be skipping an episode due to issues with the time slot.
