Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Season 2 announced the addition of Kana Hanazawa to the voice cast, with the voice actress joining as the fourth school mystery. Her character appeared in the latest episode, while it will get a proper appearance next week in Episode 7, which will premiere on February 23.
Kana Hanazawa Joins Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Anime
Kana Hanazawa is voicing Shijima Mei, with the character described as a supernatural being that pulls students into an illusory world created by her own drawings. Shijima has already appeared in the anime, while you can see her character design below.

Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Season 2 Staff & Cast
Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Season 2 anime is directed by Yohei Fukui at Lerche, with the rest of the main staff including Yasuhiro Nakanishi in charge of the series composition and Mayuka Ito as the character designer. Megumi Ogata voices Hanako, with Akari Kito as Nene.

About Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun
The Hanako-kun anime is based on a manga by AidaIro (written by Iro and illustrated by Aida), which has been serialized in Square Enix’s magazine Monthly GFantasy since 2014. The After-School Hanako-kun spin-off manga by the same creators began in 2018. Yen Press is publishing both in English.
