KILL BLUE Anime Reveals aespa and RIIZE as Theme Song Artists With Preview Trailers

The upcoming KILL BLUE TV anime has revealed its opening and ending theme artists, with K-pop groups aespa and RIIZE performing the series’ theme songs. The collaboration marks the first time either group has contributed to a TV anime theme.

Two new promotional videos were released alongside the announcement, each previewing one of the songs along with new footage from the anime.

The opening theme, “ATTITUDE” by aespa, is now available for download and streaming. Speaking about the collaboration, aespa commented:

“We’re excited to share that aespa has been selected as the opening theme artist for the anime KILL BLUE. The title of the song is ‘ATTITUDE’. We believe the track perfectly matches the fast-paced energy of KILL BLUE. To everyone who’s looking forward to the series, we hope you enjoy the world of KILL BLUE together with our opening theme, ‘ATTITUDE’!”

The ending theme, “KILL SHOT” by RIIZE, was also revealed through a second trailer. RIIZE commented:

“KILL SHOT is a track that captures the world of KILL BLUE, where ‘the front and the back’ and ‘the ordinary and the extraordinary’ intersect. Centered around a rock-inspired sound, the song features aggressive drum beats blended with breakbeats, creating a powerful impact. In the chorus, the melody expands emotionally, deepening the lingering impression of the story. We hope you enjoy the song along with the anime’s story.”
