KILL BLUE Season 2 anime was officially announced immediately after the first season’s finale finished airing in Japan today.
The creator, Tadatoshi Fujimaki, will attend Anime Expo 2026 next week for a special panel and official autograph session. A special commemorative illustration by him was also released:
Crunchyroll is streaming the anime, which ran for 12 episodes so far. They describe the story:
Legendary hitman Juzo Ogami has never failed an assignment. But after a mission, he’s stung by a mysterious wasp and wakes up in the body of a 13-year-old boy! And to make things even weirder, he receives a bizarre new order: infiltrate a middle school. Now the once-feared assassin must balance the chaos of school life with his deadly work, all while searching for a way to regain his adult body!

Kill Blue is a Japanese manga by Tadatoshi Fujimaki. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump from April 2023 to September 2025, getting compiled into thirteen volumes. VIZ Media licensed it in English.
