Keiken Zumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai suru Hanashi (Kimizero) anime revealed the main trailer featuring Maaya Uchida’s theme song. The anime will premiere this October.
Studio ENGI is animating the adaptation with Hideaki Oba as the director. Natsuki Hane and Saori Onishi are voicing the main duo, Ryuto and Runa. In addition to the trailer, Kimizero also revealed additional cast:

- Ayaka Fukuhara as Yamana Nikoru
- Tomori Kusunoki as Tanikita Akari
- Fukushi Ochiai as Ijichi Yuusuke
- Daisuke Sakaguchi as Nishina Ren
- Tomoaki Maeno as Sekiya Shuugo
- Kun as KEN
The anime is based on the Keiken Zumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai suru Hanashi (Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me) light novel written by Makiko Nagaoka and illustrated by Magako. Fujimi Shobo’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko has been serializing the series since September 2020. Square Enix’s Gangan Online web service is publishing the manga adaptation with art by Noyama Carpaccio.
Kimizero follows Ryuto Kashima, who is forced to admit that he has feelings for Runa Shirakawa, a popular female high school student. Somehow they end up on a date, but things take a turn when Ryuuto learns that a handsome soccer club member has also admitted his feelings for Runa. All of a sudden, Runa pulls Ryuuto into the room and introduces him as her date.
