A visual featuring the main character Runa Shirakawa wearing a wedding dress was revealed by Keiken Zumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai suru Hanashi (Kimizero) anime on Friday. The series is scheduled to premiere this coming July.
Hideaki Oba is directing the series at studio ENGI with Hiroko Fukuda writing the scripts and Yousuke Ito doing the character designs. Saori Onishi is voicing Runa Shirakawa while Natsuki Hanae is playing the role of Ryuto Kashima. The series previously revealed a trailer and a Yukata-themed visual.
The anime is based on the Keiken Zumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai suru Hanashi (Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me) light novel written by Makiko Nagaoka with illustrations provided by Magako. Fujimi Shobo’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko has been serializing the series since September 2020. Square Enix’s Gangan Online web service is publishing the manga adaptation with art done by Noyama Carpaccio.
Kimizero follows the story of Ryuto Kashima, who is forced to admit that he has feelings for Runa Shirakawa, a popular female high school student. Somehow they end up on a date, but things take a turn when Ryuuto learns that a handsome soccer club member has also admitted his feelings for Runa. All of a sudden, Runa pulls Ryuuto into the room and introduces him as her date.
