The Keiken Zumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai suru Hanashi (Kimizero) anime has released a special summer-themed visual featuring the characters Runa Shirakawa, Nikoru Yamana, and Akari Tanikita. Studio ENGI is animating the series, which will premiere this October. Previously released special visuals included themes such as Christmas, yukata, and wedding ones.
Hideaki Ooba will serve as the director, with Hiroko Fukuda doing the series composition. Yosuke Ito is doing the character designs, Kei Haneoka on the music, and Takeshi Takadera is on the sound direction. The cast for the anime includes:

- Aoi Koga as Maria Kurose
- Ayaka Fukuhara as Nikoru Yamana
- Tomori Kusunoki as Akari Tanikita

The anime is based on the Keiken Zumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai suru Hanashi (Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and The Inexperienced Me) light novel written by Makiko Nagaoka and illustrated by Magako. Fujimi Shobo’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko has been serializing the series since September 2020. Square Enix’s Gangan Online web service is publishing the manga adaptation with art by Noyama Carpaccio.
Manga Up! has licensed the manga with the English title You Were Experienced, I Was Not: Our Dating Story, describing the plot as:
Introverted high-school student Ryuto is forced to confess to his crush, the most popular and beautiful girl in school, Luna. Surprisingly enough, she replies, “Then, how about we go out? I’m single right now anyhow.” Then right after school, she invites Ryuto to her room…?!
Despite being completely different from one another, including the amount of experience with love and types of friends they have, the two of them are about to embark on a relationship full of firsts!
