Comments From the Theme Songs Artists

Ikimono-gakari Comment

The manga Kingdom began its serialization in 2006, the same year Ikimono-gakari made its debut. Just like the main characters, Shin and Sei, who have soared forward with great strength, Kingdom has grown into a work known throughout Japan. We’ve watched its rise with admiration and excitement, as if watching the back of a great general. It is a true honor for us, Ikimono-gakari, to now be part of this great wave by contributing the anime’s theme song. We are reminded of the conversations we shared with author Hara-sensei since our debut, and from those memories, we created a song that is a hymn to those who live with all their might.

Sora Tomonari Comment

The battles in Kingdom are truly clashes of conviction against conviction.
To capture that intensity, we recorded everything from the clashing of armor to shouts and roars from scratch.
The lyrics include subtle references that evoke the historical setting and world of the story.
It’s a powerful song that conjures up images of thunderous roars and great armies charging across the battlefield.
Together with the sixth season of the anime, we hope you feel the resounding sounds of war in your chest.
I am deeply honored to have been entrusted with the ending theme.
