KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world! Season 3 is once again the Anime of the Week after topping the Anime Corner ranking in week 6 of Spring 2024 season! And let us tell you how that happened. Deep in the Anime Corner headquarters, a dazzling thief has made it all the way into the basement of our fearless leader’s mom’s house. To get there, he had to sneak past Wind Breaker, Delicious in Dungeon, and How To Love Your Elf Bride, but it was an easy task. After all, he’s in top condition, his mana is off the charts, and his complexion is glowing.
As the ravishing thief slams the door to the basement, proudly proclaims that his name is Kazuma, and makes his way to his prize. But, Mushoku Tensei and Date A Live are there to stop him. But Tohka’s swing leaves much to desire and Rudy’s magic is useless to stop the thief from screaming “STEAL” and making off with the coveted Anime of the Week prize!
Taking 6.69% of the vote, KonoSuba managed to beat Date A Live’s 6.37% for a much-earned third win. Mushoku Tensei came in 3 with 5.02% of the vote, and Wind Breaker and Go! Go! Loser Ranger! took the 4th and 5th place, respectively.
And can you really complain that KonoSuba took home the gold? With one of the best episodes yet, Kazuma proved beyond a doubt that when it comes to overachieving. Nothing pumps a man up more than swooning a loli to gain a life of luxury. With action, laughs, and quick-witted decisions, the only people left dissatisfied by Kazuma’s performance this week were light novel elitists and poor Chris, who was once again molested.
Based on the novel by Natsume Akatsuki and with the third season animated by Studio Drive, all of KonoSuba is currently on Crunchyroll and well worth the watch.
