Kunon The Sorcerer Can See is officially getting an anime adaptation, revealing celebratory illustrations by the artists. An official X account was launched, although no details about the adaptation were revealed.

Umikaze Minamino writes the Kunon The Sorcerer Can See novel, which began on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in August 2021. It began publication in print in March 2022, with illustrations by Laruha. There is also a manga adaptation by La-na, which began in April 2022. Yen Press licensed the light novel in English.

The author, Umikaze Minamino, left the following comment on the anime adaptation: “The anime adaptation has been decided, thanks to all your support. Thank you very much. The captivating power of the illustrations and the beautiful artwork of the manga adaptation – it’s the combination of these two strengths that made the anime adaptation possible. The original novel… well, maybe, just maybe, it contributed a little too! Perhaps it was a close call! In any case, this adaptation was made possible thanks to the help of so many people. I believe the voices of the readers had a particularly strong influence. I’m looking forward to it myself. Let’s enjoy the anime broadcast together!”

The light novel and manga artists both drew special illustrations to commemorate the announcement:
